The Belted Galloway Cattle are one of our most popular breed of animals at "BIG CURVE ACRES FARM."  Often referred to as the "Oreo Cookie Cow", adults and children alike delight in seeing these wonderful, rare farm animals.  During our Educational Programs, you can view them grazing in our fields when you join us for a wagon tour.  Shown below are just a few of our Belted Galloway Cattle. WE ARE NOW OFFERING NATURALLY RAISED BEEF FROM OUR BELTED GALLOWAY CATTLE. THE MEAT IS NATURALLY RAISED WITH NO ADDITIVES. GOVERNMENT INSPECTED, CRYO PACKAGES AND FROZEN TO MAINTAIN THE QUALITY. BECAUSE THE BELTED GALLOWAY CATTLE HAVE A DOUBLE HAIR COAT, THEY DO NOT NEED THE BACK FAT FOR WARMTH AND THE MEAT IS LEANER! Excess young males go into the food chain, only a select few are kept for future breeding bulls. The females stay in the herd for breeding purposes.
